In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
