An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
